Our
young children's program provides early group experiences to 10-20
children (4 years and younger), each semester. Two certified preschool
teachers lead the group, with the assistance of two university
students. Within a supportive play setting and through cooperative and
expressive play, children learn foundation social skills. They learn
to: use their words, listen to others' words; control their emotions;
innovate “win-win” solutions to conflicts, explain their goals,
cooperate with others' goals and empathize with others. Children also
experience the joy of helping others. Fridays, 5:30-8:00 p.m., UH
