Our Sustainable Families program took a two-week hiatus during the UH Manoa spring break. After nearly three weeks of being away, look how our gardens have grown! We had a lot of harvesting and weeding to tend to. We brought home beans, radishes, beets, mustard greens, kale, daikon — just to name a few! We then enjoyed a meal based on traditional recipes from southern India, and Dr. Mary gave us a very interesting but brief history of Indian cuisine.
